[Guide for International Students Opening a Bank Account]

We are pleased to inform you that, unlike before, it is now possible to open a bank account without an Alien Registration Card. 

New international students who need a bank account can refer to the details below and visit the bank to open their account.

Target:

New international students for the Fall 2024 semester who urgently need a bank account.

Available Branches:

• Busan Bank BUFS (Busan University of Foreign Studies) Branch (Building A)
• Busan Bank Namsan-dong Branch
• Busan Bank Palsong Branch

Required Documents:

• Alien Registration Card or Passport
• Certificate of Enrollment or Standard Admission Letter
• Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN)

Important Notes:

• Please read the full announcement carefully.
• The Palsong Branch can accommodate the most students.
• Depending on the situation at the bank branch and the number of applicants, it may not be possible to issue the account on the same day.
• Each account issuance takes approximately 40 minutes per person.
